I don't know how I feel about us loving our natural hair and beauty as a protest to Eurocentric beauty standards.

What I do know we as Black women should adopt and embrace our beauty and stop comparing ourselves to anyone in or outside our race. It's hurting us on so many levels.

I'm working on another hair article. I think the more we talk about it - the more we can start our individual and collective healing journeys.
